    4.11.2021 | Restrictions on external border traffic will continue. Vaccination coverage is not yet sufficient in Finland, and there is still a risk that the capacity of the healthcare system will be exceeded. For this reason, the validity of the decision made on 14 October will be extended until 28 November. However, people may still enter Finland from all countries upon presenting an approved certificate of a full course of vaccination.

  3. Tighter restrictions on restaurants and other food and beverage service businesses in several regions due to COVID-19 - Ministry of Social Affairs and Health

    3.12.2020 | Starting from 5 December, restaurants and other food and beverage service businesses in the regions of Kanta-Häme, Päijät-Häme, Kymenlaakso and North Ostrobothnia, which are in the community transmission phase, will be subject to the same restrictions as those already in force in Uusimaa. Restrictions will also be tightened in areas entering the acceleration phase. The government decree on the matter will enter into force on 5 December at 00.00.

  4. Restrictions on entry into Finland extended until 17 April - Finnish Government

    11.3.2021 | On 11 March, the Government decided to extend the restrictions on entry into the country until 17 April 2021. The COVID-19 pandemic continues to spread, and there are no adequate measures available yet to replace the restrictions. For this reason, and to curb the spread of COVID-19 variants, both internal border controls and restrictions on external border traffic will continue. Only minor changes were made to the decisions taken on 18 February.
